March 27, 2022 Updates

Pitaracoon Nana Daisy x TGC MaineMarie Tengri 11/10/21 Litter  will soon be leaving to their new homes.

Cypress left 3/20/22.
Juniper departs on Monday 3/27/22.
Cedar will leave in a week after his people return from a short vacation.
They stayed a little longer because I managed to feed them some bad raw chicken 🙁  So we had to get their tummy and stools sorted before I could let them leave.

Note, if you are making your own raw and use chicken, you may want to heat it up to make sure all the bacteria is killed before grinding.  Lesson Learned.

Photos will be up on the past kittens page soon, just trying to get caught up.

Danny’s PawPeds rating came in today….YAY!  Right and Left hips are both normal.

One final thing….fingers crossed the most recent breeding took and we will have some A-Mazing kittens early summer.  These will be QGC Bigerivercoon Lite MyFire and Aoi Neko Oceans Eleven.  Fingers crossed we will get a least a few low white and maybe some silver torbie girls 🙂

Daisy/Tengri Kittens born 11/10/21

Daisy and Tengri had a litter of 6 kittens born on 11/10/21.  Sadly 2 of the kittens passed for unknown reasons.  Newborns are so fragile and they litterally can take a turn within minutes of you checking on them.

As of today 11/30 there are 4 kittens.  1 Black Silver Classic tabby, 1 Blue silver classic tabby, 1 Black Silver ticked tabby and 1 Blue silver ticked tabby.

So far each are continuing to gain weight.

Other news:

Danny had his hips xrayed and my vet did not note any hip issues, and his rads have been sent to PawPeds for rating.  They also resent Flame’s rads, because those have been lost somwhere between the USA and Sweden!

Danny also had his first heart echo and has been cleared for breeding, should I decide to use him.

Kitten updates

Drifter has gone to his new home with Chris, Alefiya and their three children.  He will also have 2 cat and 2 dog siblings.

Dreamer will be going to his new home on December 26, 2021.

Daisy (Pitaracoon Nana Daisy) and Tengri (TGC Maine Marie Tengri)  had 6 kittens on Novembe 10, 2021. Sadly, 2 of the kittens passed.  The remaining 4 are 12 days old and so far they are gaining weight each day.  Fingers crossed they continue to thrive.

Kittens due November 2021

Daisy (Pitaracoon Nana Daisy) and Tengri (TGC Maine Marie Tengri) are expecting  6 kittens sometime after November 10th.

The D Litter  Brandy (Aoi Neko Bertoux Brandy) and Tengri (TGC Maine Marie Tengri) , are ready to move to their new homes.  Placing these 2 boys has been trying.  So many life changes for some of my applicants that we have had many pass on these two sweet blue silver boys.   If you are on my wait list, be sure to check your emails and/or reach out so I know you are still waiting 🙂

Thanks.

Change in breeding plans/delays :(

Well things didn’t go quite as planned. 🙂

I had planned on breeding Daisy in June to Tengri and then send her daughter Brandy to an outside boy in late September.  Unfortunately, Brandy got out for literally a few minutes and I had an oops  breeding.  I had hoped it did not take, but of course, since this was not a breeding I wanted…..she was pregnant.

The kittens are lovely and there are 2 of them.   They are 5.5 weeks old   They will be placed as pets.   Brandy did have her hips xrayed.  My vet said they looked ok and for some reason Pawpeds has not been able to open the the xrays.  They were mailed twice and emailed about 2 weeks ago and we are still waiting for final evaluation results.  Her heart echo is scheduled in a couple weeks.  So all tests will be complete before the kittens leave.

Daisy I hope to breed on her next cycle.

Flame will be heading to another  1 or 2 shows, and I hope to Breed her the around the first of the year 2022.

Danny I hope to show in November, and then I will decide if he stays as a future stud here or if I will alter and place him.

So that’s all for now 🙂

PS Remember, if you still want to stay on the wait list, send me an email every 4 months or so.  If you have found your forever friend, congratulations 🙂 and please, please let me know so I can remove you and update my list.  I know the wait from me is long, and I don’t blame you for not wanting to wait 🙂

Cheers!

Back to the show ring

Well  it’s hard to believe 2021 is already 1/2 over!  We have been back in the show ring.

Earlier in June we attended the Chehalis Cat Show, which was the very first show that allowed spectators!  It was so, so nice to see some cat fancy faces I have not seen in over a year.

Still waiting for the official show report to come out and hoping we have another Champion in our midst.

I know many of you are hoping for kittens.  More on that later 🙂

Stay cool!  Lets hope this June heatwave isn’t what is to come for the rest of summer!
